Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Runners (hereinafter "Company") and users in connection with the use of the services (hereinafter "Service") provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
- Service: All online and mobile services and related ancillary services provided by the Company
- User: A person who uses the services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms
- Member: A person who has provided personal information to the Company, agreed to these Terms, and completed member registration
- Content: All information, data, and materials provided through the Service
- Location Information: Information about the location of an individual or device collected via GPS, base stations, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Paid Service: Features provided by the Company for a fee (subscriptions, payments, data analysis, etc.)
Chapter 2 Member Management
Article 3 (Validity and Amendment of Terms)
- The Company posts these Terms on the initial screen of the Service so that users can easily access them.
- The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable laws and regulations.
- Upon amendment, the effective date and reasons for amendment shall be specified and announced at least 30 days before the effective date.
- If a user disagrees with the amended Terms, the user may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw membership.
Article 4 (Member Registration)
- Membership registration is applied for by the user entering personal information in the registration form and agreeing to the Terms.
- The Company shall register users as members unless any of the following applies:
- Children under the age of 14 (unless consent of a legal guardian is obtained)
- Cases where false information has been provided
- Cases where the Company determines that registration would significantly interfere with its operations
- Members must immediately notify the Company of any changes to their registered information.
Article 5 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)
- Members may request withdrawal at any time, and the Company shall process it immediately.
- If a member falls under any of the following, the Company may restrict or suspend membership:
- Registration with false information
- Misappropriating another person's account or interfering with service operations
- Violating applicable laws or these Terms
Chapter 3 Provision of Service
Article 7 (Types of Service)
The services provided by the Company include schedule management, calendar synchronization, AI-based event recommendations, place discovery, community features, and paid subscription services, as well as partner integrations, data analytics, advertising and marketing, lifestyle support services, and all other services currently or hereafter developed and provided by the Company.
Article 8 (Modification and Suspension of Service)
- The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service as necessary for operational or technical reasons.
- In the event of modification or suspension of a paid service, advance notice shall be given, and refunds are governed by the Paid Service Terms.
Article 9 (Service Hours)
- The Service shall in principle be provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Service may be interrupted for regular maintenance, failures, or force majeure events, and advance notice shall be given.
Chapter 4 Rights and Obligations
Article 10 (Company's Obligations)
- The Company provides the Service in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
- The Company operates a security system to protect personal information.
Article 11 (User's Obligations)
Users shall not engage in any of the following:
- Entering false information
- Misappropriating another person's account
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Posting defamatory, illegal, or obscene content
- Interfering with service operations
Article 12 (Copyrights, etc.)
- The Service and related copyrights are vested in the Company.
- Copyright for posts, photos, and other content created by users belongs to the respective user.
- The Company may use such content for purposes including service operation, promotion, service improvement, AI model training, provision of partner services, and development of new services; in such cases, users' personal information will not be disclosed.
Chapter 5 Paid Services
Article 13 (Payment and Refund for Paid Services)
- Payment and refunds for paid services are governed by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
- Users may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of payment.
- Refunds may be restricted if the service has already been provided, and non-refundable reasons shall be notified in advance.
- Regular subscriptions are automatically renewed until a cancellation request is made.
- If an overpayment occurs, the Company shall issue a refund.
Chapter 6 Disclaimers and Disputes
Article 15 (Disclaimer)
- The Company shall not be liable for damages in the following cases:
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters, war, terrorism, or government regulation
- Causes attributable to the user or a third party
- Failures or service interruptions of external services, payment processors, or partners
- Issues with communication networks, devices, or software outside the Company's management scope
- Damages incurred by the user from external services while using the Service
- However, consumer rights under applicable law shall not be limited.
Article 16 (Damages)

The Company shall not be liable unless there is willful misconduct or gross negligence.

The scope of damages shall be limited to ordinary damages, excluding special damages, indirect damages, and loss of anticipated profits.

The Company's liability for damages shall not exceed the service fees paid by the user for the relevant service in the most recent 3 months.
Article 17 (Dispute Resolution)
- The Company operates a customer service center to handle user complaints.
- If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be mediated through the Korea Consumer Agency, Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee, or similar bodies.
Article 18 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
Disputes arising under these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Chapter 7 Location-Based Services
Article 19 (Content of Location-Based Services)
The Company uses users' location information to provide services including place and venue recommendations, provision of nearby event information, country- and region-specific customized services, partner integrations, advertising and marketing optimization, and service improvement and new service development.
Article 20 (Collection and Use of Location Information)
- The Company may collect location information through various technical methods including GPS, Wi-Fi, base stations, IP addresses, and information provided by partners.
- Collected location information is used for purposes including providing personalized services, place and venue recommendations, advertising and marketing optimization, service improvement and new service development, and partner service integrations. Separate consent will be obtained when providing location information to partners.
- Collected and used location information is retained for up to 1 year after member withdrawal and then destroyed.
Article 21 (Rights of Personal Location Information Subjects)
- Users may withdraw consent and request suspension of collection, use, and provision.
- Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their location information.
- The Company shall retain records confirming the use or provision of location information for the period prescribed by applicable laws or until the purpose of service use is achieved.
